Morgan Taylor | The Cinderella Collection

Yesterday bloggers, magazine editors, loyal customers and nail enthusiasts were treated to night of manis, beautiful nail colours, bubbly and the fairytale classic, Cinderella. At the event, we were all treated like princesses and were spoiled with manis at a very pretty mani station. All of the stunning Morgan Taylor colours were available, and I went for a nude look using two colours: Luxe be a Lady (nude) and Bronzed and Beautiful (sparkle shimmer).

Celebrating Walt Disney Pictures’ release of the live-action Cinderella, Morgan Taylor has launched the Cinderella 2015 Collection. The collection showcases a unique palette inspired by the movie full of magic and fantastical colours…

is a periwinkle blue frost with a slight gold shimmer. It is on the transparent side, so you need a good three coats to make it opaque.  Because of the metallic pearl in the base, be sure to avoid brush marks.

is a light pink creme. It is beautifully opaque and looks best with 3 coats.

is a pretty peach creme, inspired by the pumpkin carriage. Like Ella of a Girl, your best bet is to apply 3 coats.

is a gorgeous mint/turquoise green with a gold shimmer. You need 3 coats to get a solid, opaque coverage.

was no doubt inspired by the exquisite glass slipper and is a blue chrome colour, filled with magical holographic hexagonal glitter. It applies like a frost, with brush marks, but the glitter masks that. To get it opaque, use 3 coats. Because of the glitter, it does feel bumpy once dry.

is a medium bright pink/coral that looks beautiful on tanned skin.

As for the movie, I really enjoyed it. Cinderella’s ballgown is just what I imagined it to look like in real life. If you are a girly girl, you will love the movie!
