Review | Viva La Juicy

The other day I was walking around Edgars Sandton, when one of the countless perfume ladies asked me if I wanted to smell the new fragrance by Juicy Couture. She spritzed me and, shall we say, the rest is history. This is my new favourite fragrance.

It’s fun, flirty and fruity. The top notes are of wild berries and juicy mandarin, gently tempered with honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. Underlying it all are warm tones of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline. How can you say no?

I haven’t bought a fragrance for myself in about 2 years (I have quite a few that I need to get through first) and with so many perfumes coming out every week, this one really impressed me, so much so that I had to have it.

The packaging is fun and kitsch – a giant crystal lid sits on top of the bottle, wrapped by a fuchsia pink ribbon, onto which a little J Couture brooch is pinned.
